Why Locals Love African eat
African Eat invites you on a rich culinary journey right in the heart of Les Pavillons-sous-Bois, France. Specializing in authentic African cuisine, this vibrant restaurant crafts an impressive menu that wonderfully showcases the depth and warmth of West African flavors. From the first bite, you will experience a true celebration of tradition and taste.
The MENU African Evasion 93 offers an enticing selection of starters, including samoussa au boeuf, pastel au thon, and delicate brick au poulet, each bursting with bold, aromatic spices that awaken your palate. For mains, African Eat doesn’t disappoint — signature dishes like tiep au poisson, yassa au poulet, and the deeply comforting mafé au boeuf and mafé au poulet bring authentic sauces and tender meats that melt in your mouth, serving generous portions that satisfy both your hunger and soul.
Grill lovers will appreciate their perfectly charred brochettes de poulet and brochettes de boeuf, along with the succulent poisson braisé and agneau braisé, offering a smoky finish with juicy, flavorful bites. Side dishes like crisp frites, fluffy riz blanc, and the beloved fried plantains (aloko) complement the robust main courses, creating a harmonious balance of textures and flavors.
Patrons have praised African Eat for its genuine, heartwarming hospitality and outstanding food quality. Muhammad Wahiduzzaman highlights how the restaurant serves “real African foods” that are both healthy and delicious, making each meal feel like a special occasion. The generous portions are a great value, as noted by lIlIlIlI, who raves about the melt-in-your-mouth tenderness of the beef mafé for only €10, attesting that these dishes deliver exceptional quality without compromise.
The dining atmosphere, while intimate, exudes a casual, welcoming vibe perfect for savoring meals with friends or family. A small but cozy space means seating can be limited, and during warmer months, the lack of air conditioning might require quick lunches or takeout, but the authenticity and flavor more than make up for it.
Delivery fans will appreciate the convenience without sacrificing taste. As Carla Serti experienced, though the portions are generous and sauces beautifully balanced, there is room for improvement in meat trimming to avoid fatty pieces. Still, the freshness and warmth of dishes like the mafé bœuf and the refreshing bissap drink keep customers coming back for more.
For anyone craving an immersive African dining experience in the Paris region, African Eat stands out as a beacon of true flavors and hospitality. Whether you choose to visit in person or enjoy their speedy delivery, prepare to be transported by tastes that evoke memories and inspire new favorites with every bite.

The food was AMAZING! Just like back in my country. My friends & I loved it so much we called the restaurant to thank them and tell ‘em how amazing the food was. Next time I’m in Paris I’m definitely ordering from there again

Beef Brochette was great, but you only get one in an order. Chicken wings were not bad, but cooked a little long.
